( Here is the Report Card for December, 2015 ) Passengers Carried and Market Share The total number of passenger carried during the month of January, 2016 stood at 76.55 lakhs compared to 62.45 lakhs during the same month of the previous year. This resulted in a growth of +22.58% (YoY) . Indigo Airlines – the market leader with +35.6% market share , carried 27.26 lakh passengers compared to 22.76 lakh passengers during the same month of the previous year, resulting in a growth of +19.8%. Passenger Load Factor Passenger load factor, or load factor, measures the capacity utilization of public transport services.
